Why are all the "green living" advocates pushing these CFC bulbs?
These bulbs are costly, ugly, made in China, and contain mercury which will ultimately be put into the environment. I put half of them in my house and noticed no savings on my electric bill. I think I will horde incandescent bulbs made in the USA that cost about 25 cents each, are not ugly and contain no mercury.
Is it acceptable for global warming journalists to advocate murder in newspapers?

Global warming advocates never tell us before a storm hits, only after. They could be taking advantage of their ability to predict the future and leaving everyone else to suffer?

ok, here is my situation, l have been seeing comercials about the polar bears, and l think that what the people havent thought of yet, is breeding program for polar bears. they are saying that they are going extinct, then why not start a program. l know that people have had to start tiger, and leopard breeding programs, and that has really helped increase the population. so where do l start? please some helpful info would be greatly appreciated. thx

If you were an attorney who believed in his case, you'd still be disappointed in witnesses who lied under oath, even if they did so to try to help your case. Both because it's dishonest and because being caught would poison the jury. Is that a good analogy?Dawei I'm trying to give you guys an out. Their comments were not only 'unprofessional' they demonstrate cooperation to make the data fit the theory rather than the other way around which is what 'deniers' have been alleging all along. They're a smoking gun. The best argument the only argument you have left is the Dan Rather argument " we stand by our story even if the evidence was fake." As for the hacking, it was illegal. It is not dishonest if in fact the e mails were genuine.
Green energy advocates: How high do electricity costs have to be before it is no longer acceptable?
If we try to live in the ideal world that the environmentalists want, then energy costs will double or triple. Anything is possible for the right price but what about the poor people in this country? How are they going to afford to heat their homes in the winter with a $2000 month electric bill? What about the cost of goods and services in this country if energy prices are tripled? Energy is the foundation for our entire economy. Is it worth it to make the poor freeze to death and destroy our economy all in the name of green energy when China will be pumping million of tons of CO2 in the atmosphere every year regardless of what we do?
What are the "religious" and/or "political" reasons someone would advocate AGW?
I keep hearing this argument come up over and over again. I don't believe in AGW for any reasons beyond the science, which makes a lot of sense to me. So I'd like to hear actual examples of what the skeptics are talking about when you claim we all of the believers have motives beyond caring about life and the earth...Ok Randall, what are those " specific policy recomondation" . My problem hear is none of your arguments towards this seems credible. I need more than just an opinion.

You would think that in over 20 years of intense investigation we would have found something. For example, greenhouse warming due to carbon emissions should warm the upper atmosphere faster than the lower atmosphere but until 2006 the data showed the opposite, and thus that the greenhouse effect was not occurring In 2006 better data allowed that the effect might be occurring, except in the tropics. The only current " evidence" for blaming carbon emissions are scientific models and the fact that there are few contradictory observations . Historically, science has not progressed by calculations and models, but by repeatable observations. The record also shows four prolonged periods in the last 2,000 years when the temperature was warmer than we currently experience.
