Reliable air quality information
If the leaves on trees produce oxygen - does that mean that our air quality decreases in the winter?
I drive into the big city every day to work and am always concerned when the city comes into veiw and the smog bank is hanging over the sky scrapers. This got me to wondering if our air quality is less in the winter with no leaves on the trees. I have lots of time on my hands driving to work every day Ironically I hate to be part of the problem but on the bright side my company is working towards going more green and I have been moving towards working from home on several days. Yeah Anyways, this is just a curiosity question and I am looking forward to hearing what people think Thanks Wow I am enjoying every single answer this community has shared with me Thank you all so much for such interesting information

What is the air quality like in Wyoming (specially Rawlings city)?
Already searched airnow.gov and stateoftheair.org, but both are missing data on this city and most of the state. I want data from a reliable source, preferably one that spans years. I have read that certain industries in that state have created great amounts of pollution. Is that going on in Rawlings as well?

I need to test the air quality at my work. I don't want to alert the admins without adequate research.?
I work in an old state government building. Many folks in my office have headaches coughs ect. I would like to get the air quaility tested before I alert the administrators. I don't want to bother the admins, unless absolutely necessary. Does anyone know of a kit that tests for major issues? Since I am doing this independantly. I am concerned about price..but then again you can't put a price on health. Thanks

Air Quality in large buildings with central air next to a freeway?
I live in a large 220 unit, 17 story apartment highrise with central air. My wife is pregnant and I'm wondering about the air quality in the building. The apartment changes the air filter in our unit every few months. I think it takes the air from the roof 17 stories up, but the building is very close to the freeway in los angeles. Will central air with the filters clean things up?This is a converted office building with no windows. When they made it residential they added a small window that only opens a crack. That's why I'm guessing it's central air. Is central air better? Here's a link to the roof of the building, it has 2 giant fan structures.bing.com maps ?v 2& cp 34.05150613047638 118.26221466064453& lvl 20& dir 0& sty h& where1 1010 %20Wilshire %20Blvd %2C %20Los %20Angeles %2C %20CA %2090017& form LMLTCC
